Private Label Rights and Duplicate Content

May 10th, 2007

With all the talk about duplicate content, many people are bashing Private Label Rights (PLR) content. I won’t get into the actual duplicate content part since I’m sure you’ve already heard enough about it. I’m actually getting a bit sick of it myself!

I got into a heated discussion once in a forum about using PLR content. Someone had asked for ways to beef up their website with content without writing it themselves. I suggested using PLR articles, and someone else proceeded to rip me a new one for the remainder of the thread because he didn’t believe in using PLR sites.

I personally don’t think that someone should take the content and build an entire website or blog from it, and it’s my opinion that each piece of content should be altered at least somewhat, whether you’re worried about duplicate content or not. But I think that if used properly, PLR content can greatly enhance your online business.

I’ve been using the PLR content from All Private Label Content since August of 2006 and I will continue to use it as long as they have their doors open. Not only does it provide quality content that fits my target audience perfectly, but it also inspires some great ideas to write even more articles myself. As a bonus, they also give you tons of information on how to use your PLR content along with search engine optimization (SEO) guides, and a list of ways to monetize your content.

So, if you’ve been hesitating about using PLR content out of fear of the big bad duplicate content penalty, then fear no more. Once you’ve read the guides that All Private Label Content provides, you’ll have plenty of ways to give your readers quality information and avoid any penalties while doing it.
