Well I sure hope next Valentines Day is a great one for you, even if you’re single. Spending V-day alone is much better than dealing with a douchebag!

It was fun spending the day with my kids. We watched movies and cuddled and made cards and stuff. Good times

I wish I would have been single this Valentine's Day. It was my 1st non single one in several years and it was worse than when I was single. I am glad to be single again (dumped via text message a few days after V day) to focus on just my son and I. Great post! Thanks Jeanne! I finally learned that it’s much easier to “cope” with being single if you can figure out how to actually enjoy it. I just keep reminding myself how nice it is to walk into the bathroom and not have to put the toilet seat down every time.

I love your outlook. So many people scramble to find another partner when a relationship ends and are “afraid to be alone” for a nanosecond. You always have such a nice, healthy outlook on things.
